Everyone in life falls in love at some time or another. If we are lucky enough we will only fall in love once in our lives. This one person will be our soul mate, the one we were born to love. The one we will spend eternity with.
You were that one for me. The one I was born to love. You were the one that I went through all the bad times, all the pain and all the empty emotions for.
You were my soul mate.
How you would brighten my life just by saying "hello" How you warmed my heart just from a simple hug. There was nothing I would not have done for you nor would still not do for you. You were my very best friend. Why did that love fade ? Why did you leave ?
I told you I would wait forever, I said I was forever your's. How powerful those beautiful words can be to a soul. You told me someday we would be together when the time was right.
I never understood how long my soul would wait, how it would ache for you, how I would see you in all my dreams, how I could feel you in every part of my being. I waited for so long. I would wait forever. How did I know my soul would someday see  there was nothing to wait for.
NO matter what happens in our lives please see I will still love you more as each day passes, as each breath in taken into my lungs. No matter where I go or what I shall do. You are my soul. You are the very breath I take. Forever I shall breathe you into me.
